The primary goal of the Komische Oper Berlin’s Orchestra Academy is to specifically prepare young musicians for the world of opera. Particular emphasis is placed on accompanying singers in various opera and chamber music ensembles, through musical collaboration with singers and the study of vocal accompaniment.
In the Chamber Concert of the Orchestra Academy, the instrumentalists take center stage away from the big stage and showcase their talents. The program consists of works that highlight the individual instruments and their unique characteristics, promising a diverse evening. Whether violin, harp, or trumpet—everyone gets their moment to shine in an intimate setting.
