 cing heart and a loss of control – twenty Berlin teenagers and a teen ba
 nd explore the theme of transformation. Transformation on a small and larg
 e scale\, in minds\, bodies\, rooms and (in a frighteningly delightful dim
 ension) the world.\n\nA new wall colour for a cool video.A bold decision f
 or a better future.A different hair colour as an identity.A new beginning 
 as a prerequisite for something we do not yet know.TEENIE TIMES conceives 
 of the world as something in flux:\n\nWhat can we influence?Where does age
 ncy begin – and how does it feel? \n\nAt the heart of change: the amygda
 la. A small\, vibrating archive of fear\, desire\, anger. Here\, emotions 
 are not explained\, but ignited. Here the question begins: with what force
 s within us do we reshape the world for new times? \n\nTwenty young people
  from Berlin and a youth band from the Teeny Musiktreff are working with t
 he production team led by Pauline Jacob and Lisa Florentine Schmalz from t
 he music theatre collective staatsoper24\, alongside performance artist An
 ne Pretzsch\, composer Dariya Maminova and band leader Lukas Macher. They 
 are developing texts\, songs and music theatre scenes about the turbulent 
 phase of life they are currently experiencing themselves.
