DESCRIPTION:In this project\, the Komische Oper Berlin is working with chil
 dren from welcome classes at primary schools in Berlin. Over the course of
  a school term\, we playfully explore the concert piece Peter and the Wolf
  by Sergei Prokofiev. Children who have recently arrived in Germany also l
 earn the German language in an imaginative way through music. The highligh
 t of the project is the bilingual performance (German/Arabic\; German/Ukra
 inian) of Peter and the Wolf. A moving concert experience to which the chi
 ldren of the welcome classes are invited together with their parents and t
 he whole school.
