Concert of the choreography and composition workshop

Collaboration between our education programme Tanz ist KLASSE! and the Junge Staatsoper
In cooperation with the Junge Staatsoper, children and young people will produce a joint final concert pre¬miering their own compositions and presenting the dance pieces they have developed. While the partici¬pants in the composition workshop develop ideas with the support of a composer, children and young peo¬ple will create choreographies for these works during the winter holidays 2024 under the guidance of dance instructors. The compositions and choreographies will be presented by the Staatskapelle Berlin and the participants as part of a concert on 24 February 2024 in the Apollosaal. Registration for the choreography workshop will take place from autumn 2023.
